Awards

The amount awarded to scholars are as follows;

Canadian Scholarships: all awards are for the amount of CAD$ 7,000

Irish Scholarships: all awards to Irish scholars are for €5,000, with the exception of the 2 Atlantic Corridor Scholarships (for scholars affiliated to Athlone Institute of Technology) which are for €2,500 each.

Furthermore, all documents relating to this application must be submitted by email, including referees’ reports and evidence of institutional support. Please note: only applications which are submitted entirely by email can be considered.

Dates

The dates for the next round of applications are as follows;

Irish scholars wishing to visit Canada:
Launch date: 3rd February 2012
Closing date:  Friday 30th March 2012
applications and supporting documents must be received by email only, before 1700hrs GMT on this date.

Canadian scholars wishing to visit Ireland:
Launch date: 1st March 2012
Closing date: 30th April 2012
applications and supporting documents must be received by email only, before 1700hrs EST on this date.
