D’Arcy McGee International Forum – speakers announced

We are excited to announce that the list of speakers for the D’Arcy McGee International Forum has been announced.

Speakers, guests and contributors include General John de Chastelain, award winning Canadian writer Jane Urquhart, Canadian Ambassador Kevin Vickers, President of DCU, Professor Brian MacCraith, President of the University of Regina, Prof. Vianne Timmons, Grand Chief Joseph Norton, of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake. The D’Arcy McGee International Forum is a key event in the Ireland-Canada calendar, bringing together leaders from both countries from the fields of academia, politics, business and the arts.

Thomas D’Arcy McGee, born in Carlingford in 1825, left Ireland in 1848, and was a central fixture in the 1867 Confederation of Canada.

The ICUF is honoured to be taking over the organisation of this event, building on the work of Tommy Fegan.
