James M. Flaherty Program – Open for Applications

The Ireland Canada University Foundation is now welcoming applications for the second year of the James M. Flaherty Scholarship Program.
This programme honours the work of Canada’s former Minister for Finance, James M. Flaherty, a leader and a man of vision who, in his commitment to public service, strove to better the lives of all Canadians.
Ever proud of his Irish heritage, Jim Flaherty was a friend and supporter of Ireland and all things Irish, and indeed was an enthusiastic supporter of the ICUF. It is with much gratitude that we honour Jim Flaherty’s life’s work, by supporting scholars in Canada and Ireland who, working in partnership between these countries, lead the way across all university disciplines towards greater understanding of the contemporary challenges we face together.
