Flaherty Visiting Professorship

Applicants are required to submit details of their proposed visit, including details of;

  • the University or Institution they wish to visit
  • lectures, talks and events which they would propose to give
  • their counterparts with whom they wish to collaborate
  • information on areas in which they wish to collaborate

Visiting Professors will be required to make a formal public lecture in the host institution, entitled the ‘ICUF James M. Flaherty Lecture’ and details for this proposed event are required.

Interested parties will also need to submit a statement of support from the institution they wish to visit. In this document, an individual from the institution in question should outline how the institution will support the scope of work proposed for visiting professorship.

Applications for Flaherty Visiting Professorships must be made online via Reviewr, an online application platform.

If you have not used Reviewr in the past, you will need to set up an account, before beginning your application. To begin the application process, please….   (please note – this link is only for Flaherty Visiting Professorship applications) (not open for applications in 2020/21)

Once you have begun the application, you will be able to save your application, leave Reviewr, and login is as many times as you wish to edit your application before submitting.

Applications must be submitted by 1700 hrs EST / 2200 hrs GMT on xx (not open for applications in 2020/21) 

Once you submit your application, and the deadline has passed, it cannot be amended and applicants who do not make the deadline are invited to resubmit their application in the following year.
